First Year Project | Bangkok

I can't even imagine having four children in Bangkok or having four girls for that matter. I love hanging out with these girls! I walk into their house and all I hear is giggling. Distracted by the curls and long flowing black hair, all I want to do is give them hugs. They are adorable! Seriously, cool family and I get to photograph them! How lucky am I???

Baby, your big sisters, Elya, Tal, and Mila are awaiting for your arrival. I have been looking forward to this photography project for awhile now and I am so excited to share this journey with all of you.  I hope you enjoy pictures!

Welcome Leva, your sisters have been waiting...

Sweetgrass Farms | Summer & Spring

I feel so lucky to be able to call Kerstin and Jacob friends. When I visited them during my trip to Minnesota in July 2015 I was so excited to be there, I didn't want to leave. This happened again in the cold spring time a year later.

I actually got lost on my way to Sweetgrass Farms. I didn't have internet at this time and I thought I could find it from memory. However, I was completely wrong. After wondering around for an hour between Wisconsin and Minnesota and of course a few phone calls to Kerstin, I finally rolled up to their beautiful farm and I fell in love all over again.

Everything from the sweet white farm house, the old weathered barn, and my friend, all bundled up waiting for me in the cold, make for a cozy place. Kerstin and I went for a walk to her woods where she showed me her favorite oak trees and we talked about their plans for their fields. They have 90 acres of pure bliss. I can't wait to visit this summer and for the bucket of honey I will be picking up. This time I won't forget it! xx
