Sri Lanka, 2015

We spent our first 5 days surfing and the next 5 days we spent traveling around the country side of Sri Lanka. One morning we set out with a guide and a fisherman to go fishing. Let's just say that the boat was tiny and he basically took us for boat ride. However, when we returned to our Tuk Tuk, we found this amazing place where all of the locals wash their clothes, bathe, wash their motorcycles, bicycles, and of course some go fishing. Everyone was beautiful and full of smiles. I can't wait to go back.

Bossa Family

I was lucky enough to cross paths with the Bossa family in Luang Prabang, Laos. I love this sleepy little town. Full of temples, delicious restaurants, and great cooking classes. We started chatting on my favorite French breakfast and we both agreed that this restaurant is the best in all of Luang Prabang for breakfast, reading a book and relaxing. He also told me that they had taken the entire year to travel the world with their two young adults, the boy is 13 and the girl is 11. I enjoyed hearing where they have been and where they are planning on going next. I aslo found their story fascinating. I gave them card and told them, if you're in Bangkok and you'd like a family photo shoot to contact me. I set off for my cooking class and they headed south on the river for few days.
